I love this place. The thing to get in the Chicken Torta. It's a grilled(? marinated) chicken sandwich with a toasted bun. It's got shredded lettuce and tomatoes with avacados and sour cream. Big, deicious and cheap. Wash it down with an /Or-cha-ta/

freakin great - worth the trip from anywhere.

As a girl from the south, I can verify that Taco King really is the best mexican food in town. And yea, that's pretty sad.

Strange though, I went in there the other day and it smelled like cow manure. Bleck. I mean, it's not like we have a lot of cows around here...

Taco King is by far the best mexican food in squarebanks.
the next would be jalopeno's
followed by El sombero.

When I think of Taco King, my heart sort of melts. It's one of those places that I just loved to go. I went sometimes twice a week - and always got the same thing, Chicken Tortas. Sometimes I would get a sandwich...

So if you want to go (now this is in Anchorage) It's at Northern Lights and C street across from Borders Bookstore and the Walmart.

Moose's tooth (Thai Pizza) and Humpy's (smoked salmon salad) are good, but nothing better than Taco King!
