This is the Valdez Small boat harbor. These boats take you to the most scenic places in Prince William Sound for some Glacier and Wildlife watching. Bring your field glasses and your parka. The waters of the Sound are full with both Glaciers and Wildlife. You might see whales, otters, porpoise, puffin birds, Eagles, a harbor seal, and you may even see a bear or deer along the shore.
The Glaciers in this area of Alaska are tidewater glaciers, which means they calve or terminate in the sea. It's truely amazing sight to see a huge chunk of blue ice crash into the sea with a huge splash and roar.
